Myrtle R. Shiver

Myrtle R. Shiver, 90 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away January 14, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2020 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL with Pastor Donnie Lumpkin officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Shiver was born in Fort Payne, Alabama; daughter of the late William P. and Novella Newby Roughton. She was retired from West Point Pepperell and a member of Auburn Road Assembly of God Church.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert P. Shiver, sons, Terry E. Jackson, Jerry F. Jackson and grandchildren, Mark Jackson, Keith Jackson and Kristy Coyle.

Survivors include her daughters, Peggy Gray and husband, Wendell and Joan White all of Salem, AL; sister, Margie Kyser of Opp, AL, six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
