Robley Evans II

Robley Evans II, age 78, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Tuesday June 23, 2020. Robley was born November 3, 1941 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Thelma Powl Evans and Robley Evans, I.

Robley faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Korean and Vietnam retiring with 24 years of service. He was Deputy Director of the Public Works Department with the city of Columbus, Georgia. Robley loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed SEC football, especially Alabama and Auburn games. He enjoyed fishing and the great outdoors. Robley instilled the value of respecting others to his family. Robley will be greatly missed by all who knew and especially loved him.

Robley is survived by his son, Tom Evans (Debbie); brothers: Larry Evans and Jack Evans; sister Maryanne Roberts (Wynn); and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Robley was preceded in death by his wife Liane Kiren Evans; son, Robley Evans, III; his parents Robley Evans and Thelma Powl Evans.

Robley will be laid to rest in Lakeview Memory Gardens on Monday, June 29, 2020.
