I also grew up with Craig. My mother had dated his father long ago. We'd lost touch except for high school reunions but the last several years had renewed our friendship via email. As others, I was completely in shock when I heard of his passing. Next year's 50th year reunion just won't be the same without him. We'll all miss you, Craig. Gini Klein Spencer

We have been on vacation and I hope some of the family will view this. Craig was a classmate and a friend to Glenn and I. He visited us on one of our reunions. We have been friends on e-mailing and have gotten to know one another a lot more.He shared his flower gardens with us and kept us informed on what was going on out where he lived.I was in shock when I got a note from him telling us of his illiness. It was soooo sad to read. I responed the best I could.I knew he had been sick and in the hospital but never realized just what was going on until I got his last note....

craig was a fine person and schoolmate.

There are no words to express my sadness. We were friends since he was 9 and my annual visit to Mt.Vernon was the highlight of my year. Growing up in Chicago was such a different experience from Upton .
During the past 6 months I saw such courage and resolve in Craig. I told him I couldn't imagine a world without him in it. And yet here we are, but we all have our memories and they make us smile. Thank you Craig, for waiting for me to get there .

I grew up with Craig when his family lived in the Upton area. I can remember my sister and I spending many fun evenings with him and his sister Vicki exploring the hills near their home. We continued our friendship through high school and kept in touch occasionally as adults. He was a wonderful friend. He will be missed by many people. My deepest sympathy is extended to his family. Rest In Peace, Craig.

Craig had a place in my heart for many years and his passing has left a hole where that place was. I have so many unforgetable memories of the crazy things we did together and the laughter and tears we shared. God must have needed someone to share some laughs with and he called Craig to Him. Craig did have a great laugh. God's speed my friend. He will be missed by many, especially his mother.

Craig has always had a very special place in my heart. We spent so much time together during high school and college doing silly, fun, and unforgetable things - from going to our proms to catching frogs in a hog pen for one of his classes in college. He was a great laughing partner - I will never forget his laugh.
I have a big hole in my heart that Craig filled since we met back in M.V.H.S. God must have needed someone to laugh with; He couldn't have picked a better one. God's speed, my friend. I know that we will laugh together again.

Our condolences go out to the family of Craig. We were neighbors of his mother, Melba. My son who is now 17, greatly enjoyed talking to and listening to all of Craig's stories. He was a very nice man.
