Candace Kay Wakefield

Candi was a loving wife to Thomas Wakefield, a beloved Mother to Joshua Dombrowski and Jessica O’Connor, and a very proud “Grammy” to Alexis and Katelyn O’Connor. Candi was the daughter to the late Richard and Caroline Campbell, and was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was the youngest of her predeceased brothers Scott, Michael and Rick, and her surviving brother Jonathan.

She studied Medical Assisting at the University of Albuquerque, graduating in the class of 1982. She continued her career within the medical field for many years while maintaining the role of a loving dedicated wife and Mother.

During her adult years, she spent her spare time enjoying reading, crafting, nature, crystal hunting, and spending time with her pets.
