Passed away on June 11, 2018
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when day is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times, and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun of happy memories I leave behind when day is done.

Delilah and Sarah,
My father once said, "In life you will have many acquaintance but are lucky if you will end up with one true friend"... Kenny was my friend.
I've known Kenny just about 20 years. He had the Heart of a Lion and was generous to a fault. He always had stories.. and always wanted to feed you and loved to talk about food from home. We sat many nights in his Santa Maria restaurant just sitting and talking. When I opened my restaurant, he let me develop the recipes in his. When he opened in San Luis, we talked about the future. When he decided to move to Phoenix, I moved back east. We talked many times of getting together always thinking we'll do that soon and let life pin us down. Always thinking soon! He was so proud of you and Sarah.
I talked to Kenny a few months ago. He said he hadn't been feeling well but I guess maybe he didn't tell me everything... and one last time we said we'll have to get together.
Once again... I was lucky to have a real friend.

We will miss Kenny Danou. We had the pleasure of knowing him in our chiropractic office. Our job is to make others feel better...But Kenny was always making us feel better. His outlook on life and the world around was always uplifting and solid. His strong testimony of God was refreshing, as he freely shared his beliefs of our loving Father in Heaven. He always spoke of his love of family, all of his family. It was awesome to know he spoke Aramaic, the language of Christ. We believe he is speaking with his Savior now. He shared with us once his favorite scripture, "Be Still and Know that I am God."
Thank you for your friendship Kenny. The world is a better place because of you. Our thoughts and prayers will be with your family. Love, The Johns
