suffering and joined her Creator in heaven on June 23, 2016. Terry
had a short but wonderful life during which she left an indelible mark on
all with whom she had contact. From her expertise as a business
executive, to the sharing of her skills as a university professor, her
extensive volunteer activities as both worker in and chairman of major
campaigns, to her devotion to family, friends and her parish she was a
prime example of how to live a generous and rewarding life. Receiving
a diagnosis of stage four pancreatic cancer 18 months ago, true to form, Terry met the
challenge head on and eagerly participated in clinical trials to aid the medical research
community in its attempts to attack this horrific disease. She always saw the positive in even
the darkest circumstances.
A memorial rosary and Catholic Mass will be celebrated by family friend, Father Antony Mathew,
at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 11001 N. 40th Street, Phoenix on July 6, 2016. Rosary will
begin at 10:00 am followed by the celebration of the Mass.
In lieu of flowers and in keeping with her wishes, please continue Terry's work by remembering
her with a donation to the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center (VGPCC), Attn: Nancy McCutcheon,
10460 N. 92nd Street, Suite 206, Scottsdale, Arizona 85258. You may annotate in the memo
line of your check 'In memory of Mary "Terry" Bollinger'.
Terry was preceded in death by her father, James Sieczkowski.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Bill; her mother Florence; four sisters; five
brothers; many nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews, and her resolute "Anchor
Team". Much Aloha! Shine on...
