Met Bobby when his cousin, Chris and I were first engaged in 1965. He had his uniform on, and I was so nervous to meet him. He was kind to me and happy for us.
We almost visited him and his family once while on our way to California, but he would be working and we cancelled our stopover.
Loved seeing his Facebook posts, even though we were on different sides of the political spectrum. We're still family, after all, and our choices were tolerated by him in good humor.
We love you Bobby and you'll remain in our hearts.
