Robert Lee Zismann Sr.

On May 31, 2017 the world got a lot dimmer and the heavens got a lot brighter, for on that day the GREAT Robert Lee Zismann Sr. passed. He was surrounded by family and friends and passed peacefully knowing he was loved.

He will be remembered as a great husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, uncle and friend. His sense of humor and love of life was inspirational to all that knew and loved him. He was a man that loved family dearly, he was always there when you needed him, and he always gave encouragement to succeed and be happy, but also was tough when you needed it.

Growing up he instilled in his children to “leave it better than you found it”…. and that’s what he did, he left this world better than he found it. He will be greatly missed and there is comfort knowing he is together with our mom, and all family that has passed that he also held so dear to him.

He is survived by 4 children and their spouses, Renae & Bob Shadley, Robert & Nancy Zismann, Dennis & Tracey Zismann and Tina & Bob Adams, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and many beloved nieces and nephews and their families.

Dad, be in paradise with mom and enjoy your never ending fishing trip. You will always be dearly loved and in our hearts forever.
