Samuel Rascon

Samuel Rascon, 24, of Phoenix, Arizona entered into heaven on October 26, 2024, in Denver, Colorado while on vacation. Samuel was born on October 2, 2000 to Leonela Rivera and Samuel Rascon Marquez, the third of five children.

Samuel grew up in Phoenix and attended Desert Foothills Jr. High and Alhambra High School.

Samuel was very strong, ambitious and fearless. He was driven to work and that is where he found his career as a surveyor with flood control. Samuel’s heart was his family. He loved holiday’s together and long weekends where they would barbecue and hangout. Samuel’s favorite past time was fixing up street cars. He loved working on the engines and making them run. His favorite color was blue. He loved to dance and liked all kinds of music.

Samuel leaves behind his mother and father, Leonela Rivera and Samuel Rascon Marquez, grandparents, sisters Ceni Rivera, Estrella Rascon, Brayan Rascon, Hilitia Varela, many aunts and uncles, cousin, and his 2 nieces Dalayza and Daylin, and extended family. Samuel was received in heaven by his great grandmother, grandmother, aunts and uncles.

Visitation for Samuel will be held Monday, November 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Family Home located at 1805 S 29th Ave, Phoenix, Arizona 85009. A graveside will occur Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery, 719 N 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009.
