Born on August 4, 1933, in Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late Murray Langella and Madeline Lionelli Langella. Joan worked in office administration for many years in the health care industry, where she made many friends along the way. Before her health started declining, resulting in her move to South Carolina, she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Haworth, NJ. Joan enjoyed playing golf, music and dancing. Family was everything to Joan; she was proud to be a member of a very large extended family. She was most proud of being a loving mom and grandmother.
Joan is survived by her three sons, Edward “Ed” Santulli (Tracey) of Sunset, SC, Robert Santulli of Cornelius, NC, and Thomas Santulli (Mary Pat) of Eden Prairie, MN. She also leaves to cherish her memory, one sister, Marilyn Petruzzelli (Phillip) of Port St. Lucie, FL; and seven grandchildren, Nicole, Ian (Hillary), Danielle, Brandon (Grace), Nicholas, Meredith and Daniel.
Services for Joan will be private. She will be entombed beside her husband Edward, at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
