Mrs Mary Louise Hawkins

Mrs Mary "Louise" Hawkins, age 78, of Easley, South Carolina went to be with her Lord on Friday June 8, 2018. Louise was born December 4, 1939 in Pickens, South Carolina to Zelma Carson O'Shields and William O'Shields, She was the wife of 53 years to the late Truman Thomas Hawkins Sr.

Louise was a homemaker, caregiver and friend to everyone, who always had a smile on her face and laughter filled the air. She loved children and her grandchildren and assisted with the primary Sunday school class at Wayside Baptist Church. She rode her first roller coaster at 77 years young.

Louise is survived by; son Truman Thomas Hawkins Jr.; daughter-in-law Sandy Hawkins; daughter Melinda McAlister; son-in-law Steve McAlister; son Sonny Stonewall Hawkins; son Hank Hiawatha Hawkins Sr.; and daughter-in-law Nancy Hawkins; brother Daniel O'Shields sister in law Judy O'Sheilds and sister Irene Hooper. Louise also leaves 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and one on the way to share in her memory.

Louise was preceded in death by; father William O'Shields Jr. and mother Zelma Carson O'Shields Husband Truman; brother Jackson O'Shields and sister Becky Henderson; grandson Hank Hawkins Jr. and special aunt Betty Mae Ramey.

A visitation for Louise will be held Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at Dillard Funeral Home, Pickens, South Carolina. A funeral service will occur Monday, June 11, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Blue Ridge Veiw Baptist Church, Pickens, South Carolina. Burial will follow at the Blue Ridge View Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Cody Hawkins, Hiawatha Hawkins Sr, Stonewall Hawkins, Thomas Hawkins Jr., Brian McAlister and Jason Tollison.
