Iva – Thelma Elizabeth Young Phillips, 75, wife of L. G. Boyd Ellenburg, passed from this life on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Mrs. Phillips was born in Pickens, a daughter of the late Olin Earl and Juanita Timmerman Young. She was retired from Michelin Tire Corp and she was a member of Lowndesville Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Boyd Ellenburg, a daughter, Jackei Nealy and sons John Elgin and Glen Elgin and step-children, Greg Ellenburg, Melissa Harrison, Keith Ellenburg, and Rodney Ellenburg. Also surviving is a sister, Sarah Hostetler (Jerry) and a brother, Earl Young, Jr. (Kay). In addition to her parents, Mrs. Phillips was predeceased by a son, Jack Elgin, Jr. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM and funeral services will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Easley.
