To the Hoxit family:
Wayne and Kathleen have been a part of our church family since I was a preteen. Wayne brought his family to church and taught them about the love of God and the importance of living a Christian life. He was dedicated to his family, his church and his sweetheart, Kathleen. Above all this, he loved the Lord. He was devastated when he could no longer take care of Kathleen at home. He went twice a day to Manna and stood outside the window where he could see Kathleen and talk with her on the cell phone. A few weeks ago I was passing by Manna and there was Wayne standing in the shrubbery talking to her thru the window. How I wish I had taken the time to snap a picture of that! What a testimony to his life as a devoted, Godly husband! I could go on and on but there's nothing I can say to you, family, that you don't already know. We will miss his presence and his faithfulness to our little church but there is no doubt that he is rejoicing in Heaven with a glorified body today. I thank God for the blessed assurance that one day we will see him again. May God bless and comfort you in the lonely days ahead. We love you all.

Wayne is truly missed by his church family. I will miss talking with him and seeing his smiling face every Sunday. He was so dedicated to God, church, and his sweet wife. It's so refreshing to see a couple so dedicated to each other. It is so fitting that he be buried on Valentine Day and we, at Rocky Bottom, hope that Kathleen enjoys her beautiful flowers. Because of Covid we could not be with Wayne and Kathleen as we would have but they and the entire family were and continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. We were so blessed to have them as part of our church family.
