July 6, 1929 – March 10, 2020
Carolyn (Duck) Isabelle Lindsay, 90, of Evans City peacefully passed after many years of courageous resilience on March 10, 2020. She was born on July 6, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Caroline (Winter) Lindsay.
She was a talented writer of songs, poems, and stories. Duck had a passion for history and loved to learn and recite facts of all kinds. She had a witty, dry sense of humor and was never afraid to poke fun at herself and others. However, what brought her the most joy was a good meal and a drink with her family.
She is survived by her sister, Nancy M. Lindsay of Evans City; her niece, Rachel L. Wynn (Dennis Mellon) of Allison Park; and her great niece, Lindsay J. Wynn of Allison Park. She is also survived by her four legged friend, Daisy. She is predeceased by a sister, Joanne L. Wynn and her other loyal four legged friend, Izzy. She will be greatly missed by all of us as well as many friends and cousins.
Friends will be received on Friday, March 13, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Brandt Funeral Home, Ross Twp., Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 14th at 12:00 p.m., with viewing from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at H.P. Brandt funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J. Will be forever remembered for her sense of humor and her life long friendship with all members of my family. We will all miss the phone calls which we would get without fail on our birthdays. Those conversations would be full of many wonderful memories. Rest in Peace Carolyn, we will all miss you...

Always have fond memories of your Aunt when we were kids. She was around often and I know you all were very close. I will be keeping all of you in my prayers over the following days.
