Elaine Marie (Jockel) Francolino of Allison Park passed away suddenly on December 8, 2020 at the age of 65. She is survived by Carl Francolino, her loving husband of 30 years; her father Bernard F. Jockel; brothers Bernie (Lori) Jockel and Steve Jockel; sisters Lori Jockel and Connie (Tim) Lee; sister-in-law Elaine E. Francolino; and several nieces, a nephew and a grandnephew. Elaine was preceded in death by her daughter Amanda Ann Buczkowski, her first husband Joseph Buczkowski Jr., her mother Patricia (Cousins) Jockel, and her stepmother Lorraine (Morrow) Jockel.

Elaine battled type one diabetes from the age of three, and lost her vision at age twenty-one. Yet she led a joyful and fulfilling life, supported by her profound faith in God and the devotion of her husband, family and friends. Elaine touched many lives, sharing her love of Jesus and her enthusiasm for life with everyone she met.

Private visitation will be for immediate family.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm at Union Dale Cemetery, 2200 Brighton Road. This outdoor service is limited to 50 people, all of whom must wear masks. Arrangements are under the direction of the ORION C. PINKERTON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1014 California Ave., Avalon, PA 15209. Online condolences may be shared at www.pinkertonfuneralhome.net

In lieu of flower, memorial donations to Elaine’s favorite charity, Joni&Friends (joniandfriends.org), would be greatly appreciated.

May you find comfort in Elaine’s favorite passage of scripture:

John 14: 1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
