Elaine B. Hilyard

Elaine B. (Morris) Hilyard, 71, of Ohio Twp., passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 18, 2018. She was the devoted wife of 49 years to the late DuWayne “Duey” Hilyard. Proud mother of Lance and his wife Courtney and the late Lee Jeffrey Hilyard; Grandma of Lainey & Luke Hilyard, Sean & Abigail Zwick and Macey Scarborough; she was also the sister of Ruth Ann Miller. Elaine was the biggest fan and supporter for anything her family was involved with; whether it was the Boy Scouts, teaching Sunday school, the football boosters or cheering on her husband at the racetrack. She will be remembered as a very strong woman who greatly loved her family. Prior to her retirement, Elaine worked as a rehabilitation counselor who owned and operated Wage Loss Consultants.

Friends received 2-4pm and 6-9pm Thursday in the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave., Avalon, 412-766-5600. Funeral Service will be held Friday 11am in the Mt Nebo U.P. Church, 1828 Roosevelt Rd., Sewickley.
