Elaine was my best childhood friend. We were pretty much inseparable until I moved away to Florida in junior high. Unfortunately, we sort of lost contact over many years and just a few years ago, reconnected and shared some long telephone conversations and Facebook messages. Our conversations were just like we had never been apart and I am so grateful I had that chance to reconnect with her. My biggest regret is not reconnecting sooner so I could have seen her in person once more. My heart is so sad. I send my love and sincere condolences to Elaine's family and friends. RIP my dear old friend.

Elaine was my cousin, I loved her very much. When I lived in New Bedford we were best friends even though she was a year older than me. We went to school and to church together. At family gatherings we were inseparable. When I moved to Arizona the bond between us was not broken. I regret that we were not in contact more often but when we were it was like we had never been apart. I will miss her greatly and will remember her fondly and with love.

To the family of Elaine , sorry for your loss, you may have never heard your mom talk about me, but your mom was 1 of my best friends in high school. We even kept in touch years back with her many health issues. Super memories of a wonderful person.
