March 31, 2018

We have fond memories of growing up next door to the Davis family in Morgantown, WV. Elaine's mother was our Grandpap McCartney's sister Caroline Davis. She was first cousin to our mother, Wanda DeVault Harold. We have several photos of my sister Jackie, my brother Dick and me taken on their property. As the years went by and we all got busy with our own families, it seemed Elaine was our main link in keeping up with family matters, especially after her sister Lillian passed away. We were all very fond of Elaine and so happy she and 'Wally' found each other. Our cousin Donald Davis and wife Becky have been instrumental in keeping us, in our several different states, connected in more recent years. Our family is very grateful for all they and their children have done for Elaine. I talked to Elaine a couple times after she lost Wally, but regret I didn't do more. She will not be forgotten.
Love and deepest sympathy to all her remaining family and Wally's from Janice DeVault Tylka, sister Jackie DeVault Falker, brother Dick DeVault and mother Wanda Harold. May she rest now in peace.
