Janice Jo Burns, age 78, of Kilbuck Twp., passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. Known affectionately as Jay, she was the beloved wife of the late Johnson Burns. Loving mother of Daniel Burns, John (Donna) Burns, Robert (Nancy) Burns, Barbara (Ron) Heller, Raymond (Cheryl) Burns, and Jason Burns. Proud grandmother of Alex, Tara, Scott, Sara, Joshua, Robin and Noah; great-grandmother of Alyssa, Adison, Austin, Haley, Eli, Emma, David and Trevyn. Sister of Dorothy Heckler and Rayna (James) Montgomery. Jay was a doting caretaker of her family, enjoyed family trips to Myrtle Beach, and spent many hours lovingly tending to the many plants and flowers in her home and garden. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the North Way Christian Community Church of Wexford, 12121 Perry Hwy, Wexford, PA 15090. Arrangements entrusted to the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., Avalon. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the Vincentian Home, in care of Vincentian Charitable Foundation, 8250 Babcock Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

My aunt Janice was a very wonderful person. Always trying to keep relatives updated, also. She kept in touch with most of uncle. Johnsons' family, some. Siblings. , She would always update us about. "Noah", his many antics, and also Jasons' marital problems & relationships !!! Always something!!! She loved taking care of her many house plants& bird houses. ,. Shes' always in my thoughts, . Her neice Julia A ( Burns) Pelczarski. May she. Rest in Peace .
