Age 94, formerly of North Huntingdon, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014. Daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Overand; beloved wife of the late John R. Sample; loving mother of John (Kim) Sample of Ross Twp., Deborah (Barry) Shevock of North Huntingdon and Jeffrey Sample of California; cherished grandmother of Douglas (Casey) Sample, Scott (Megan) Weinman and Megan (Chad) Rannigan; proud great-grandmother of Abigail Rannigan, Ella Sample and Addison Weinman; sister of the late Berna Deane Overand. Jean was a member of the McKeesport Nurses Alumni. Jean's family thanks the staffs of The Haven of North Hills and Celtic Hospice for the special care given to their mother.
