Cheryl Dian Arens, age 64, passed away at her home in Pollock Pines, CA on February 17 2013. She went to sleep surrounded by her loving family.
Cheryl was born at Memorial Hospital in Redding CA on April 26 1948 to proud parents, Kenneth James and Donna Lou Arens. Cheryl grew up in Redding and attended Enterprise High School. She was oldest of three children, having two younger brothers, Danny Ray and Laurence James.
Cheryl was the mother of two beautiful children, Heidi Kim Snow and Joshua Chad Marks. She also very much enjoyed the company of her grandson Lucas Marks. Cheryl leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews who adored their ‘Auntie Cher’.
Cheryl loved Jehovah God and had a deep faith in the Bible’s promises of a resurrection to life in a new world on earth.
The Arens family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all of the wonderful people who took such great care of Cheryl these last few months. For our immeasurable loss, words of sorrow may be written or spoken; these words often easily slip our mind, but we promise that the memory of Cheryl’s beautiful smile will never be forgotten. ~ Goodbye Cher, you left us much too soon…
A memorial of Cheryl’s life will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 5415 Pony Express Trail, Camino, CA on March 9 at 3 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, Placerville.
