She was preceded in death by her husband, Olin (Dock); sisters, Mary Shuman (Donald), Maybel Hires (Lessie), Edna Barton (Vic); brother, Amos Tickel (Eloise). She is survived by her brother, Robert Tickel (Sandra); three sons, Olin R. Yancey, Jr. (Ellie), Royce A. Yancey, Kenneth M. Yancey (Melody); three grandchildren, Kristopher Yancey (Trish), Kimberly Carnes, and Elizabeth Yancey.
She was a life long resident of Plant City, the oldest and longest member of Grace United Methodist Church, and a 65 year member of the Plant City Chapter Number 81 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Wells Memorial Funeral Home, 1903 W. Reynolds Street, Plant City, FL 33563 with a Funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens in Brandon, Florida.
