Anna Margaret Cordier, residing in Dorval, passed away on January 17, 2019, peacefully, at the age of 85, surrounded by family and on her own terms. Born and raised in Bristol (and as an evacuee on a farm in Devon during the Second World War), Anna moved to Montreal in 1962 following time in London and working at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, and made a life in Canada as a court reporter, choir soprano, and lover of cats, horses, bats, Snoopy, and Badger. As a Mum, she gave a happy childhood to son Philip and daughter Catherine, in T.M.R. and Pointe Claire. Daughter of James Alexander Stedman and Lilias May Glen, Anna is survived by sisters Faith and Dawn, and half-sister Nancy. She was predeceased by half-sisters Ann, Marion, and Janet
