Florence Eleanor Ricci (Reager) died Sept. 10, 2021 in Pompano Beach, Fla. She was 97. A resident of Florida for the past decade, Florence was born Jan. 30, 1924 in Springfield, Mass. to the late Max and Edna Reager. She was predeceased by husbands Harold Keane, Raymond “Red” Howard and Charles Ricci, son Paul Keane, great granddaughter Morgan Keane and sisters Leora Colach and Dorothy Underwood. She is survived by sons James Keane (Andrea) of Fountain, Colo., Peter Keane (Karen) of Williamsburg, Va. and Robert Keane of Port St. Lucie, Fla., eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Florence worked many jobs throughout her life and was primarily a homemaker in East Longmeadow, Mass. She was a graduate of Commerce High School in Springfield. She also lived in Nashua, N.H. before moving to Florida. She was known for her love of animals, especially cats. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Springfield.
