Martin J. Cunnane, age 85, of Pompano Beach, Florida. Marty passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20th at home, surrounded by family. He was born in the Bronx, NY to Irish Immigrants and worked at Yankee Stadium as a young boy, remaining a lifelong Yankee fan. Marty attended Cardinal Hayes H.S. and graduated from Fordham University, and was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was married in 1961 to Dorothy, enjoying 57 amazing years together. They were blessed with six children and lived in Bronxville and Yonkers, New York. They moved to Pompano Beach, Florida in 1980 and Marty enjoyed running on the beach and traveling with Dorothy. He loved visits with his children and grandchildren and was a long time parishioner of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Pompano Beach. He is survived by his six children: Marty Cunnane Jr., Jean (Nicholas) Vaccaro, Christopher Cunnane, Anne (John) Tuosto, Eileen (Kevin) Woodworth, Joseph (Joan) Cunnane, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. passed away on Wednesday November 20, 2019. Martin was born October 12, 1934 in Bronx, New York.
A visitation for Martin will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 731 N. Ocean Blvd., Pompano Beach, FL 33062.

So much love could be seen as they cared for both parents . Marty & Dorothy raised some special children.
Marty will be missed , by so many of us here. He was a great neighbor for over 19 years. I appreciate the many good walks & talks he shared with my husband.
