Agnes Marie Beach

Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 3:00 pm. Rev. Joe Beach will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will from 1:00 pm until services, Thursday at the funeral home.

Marie was born January 28, 1930 to Jesse T. White and Ada Starkey White. Upon graduation from Pearl River Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi, she began a lifelong vocation of teaching. She served schools in Poplarville, Picayune, and Jackson. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. Above all, she was devoted to her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dempsey Beach; two sisters, Betty Jo Hymel, Jackie Davis; and her daughter-in-law, Lynn Beach.

Family members include two children, Jesse Beach, Vesenda Morris (Johnny); three grandchildren, Jo'L Parker, Julie Ray, Rankin Morris; eight great- grandchildren, Rebekah Jackson, Carley Harrell, Chandler Ray, Camden Ray, Alex Harrell, Canaan Ray, Nevaeh Rogers, Lainey Morris; one great-great grandchild, Rory Jackson; one special niece, Lynda Steele; and one special great-niece, Melaney Emerson.
