Emily Jo Gammage Denmark, 78, of Poplarville, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Denmark was born November 12, 1939 in Laurel, Mississippi to James Veal and Sarah Edna Lobrano Gammage. She was a homemaker and a member of Poplarville First United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Denmark; and one son, Derek Denmark.

Family members include two children, Brian (Annabelle) Denmark, Brad (Courtney) Denmark; one brother, Jimmy (Sherry) Gammage; two granddaughters, Sophie and Sarah.

Services will be at White Funeral Home, Poplarville on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 12:00 pm. Dr. Eric Pridmore will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

I wanted you to know how sorry I am of the passing of your mother. I was also unaware of the passing of Derek last year.

I am sorry for your loss. I am so thankful for for the friendship I shared with your Mom and Dad. They made me feel so welcome when I moved to Poplarville. Praying for ya'll. I am unable to attend the funeral Friday.
