We have many happy memories of square dancing with her in the Haymakers club. May she rest in peace and be forever in the sunshine of heaven. Gayle was a beautiful soul. I worked with Gayle first at Howitt and we spent a great deal of time walking together and sharing stories. She especially loved to talk about her children and how proud she was of them. Then I worked with her at maquinna for several years. Gayle was always there with a smile and always said good morning to everyone. We all loved her speciality food she brought for school luncheons, her mini pizzas. I think I ate most of them every time she made them. Gayle will be missed by so many people because she was so incredibly down to earth and sweet. My thoughts are with the family.

I met Gayle through my son, Colin - a friend of Matt's. We only spoke a handful of times, but her goodness shone through. Over the years I know Colin has valued her support and humor, and I have been glad to know he had her in his corner.

The last time we spoke to Gayle was a conference call with her family from Ontario. BILs, SILs and kids. It started out us speaking to Jim😏 until we realized Gayle was there. 😊 They were other on the phone with us. She had us laughing so much. The end of the phone call we had to hang up because we were laughing so much because of her laugh, we couldn't understand each other. We didn't get to see Gayle very. We loved her and we will miss her.

Gayle and I worked together and shared a morning supervision shift. While we waited for students to arrive we would often chat. I will remember her as unfailingly kind, compassionate, and funny.
