Pat would always call me his angel...
We had made a trip on his motorcycle and were going from Merritt to Kelowna. It was during the May long weekend. The weather turned freezing and the roads were pure ice. Sleet was coming down like razor blades against our faces. He kept the bike steady and slowly made it to a hotel in Kelowna. We were frozen and wet. We opened the door to the room and flung our wet leathers and boots over chairs and cranked the heat.. filled the tub with warmish water and dove right in. He was telling everyone what a trooper I was for not complaining for being such a good passenger, but it was our beloved Pat Pfau who was the real hero that day... and he, my angel , As of the wonderful six years that we spent together. The memories are plenty more... and I thank him from the bottom of my heart for those times. Love you Pat... Hope you are riding free and easy now.

I didn't know Pat very well at all, but, his cheery smile and kindness always brightened my day when he would come to gas up at my place of work.
