Alice was born May 1, 1937 in Beaumont, Texas to Geronimo and Alice Germo. She attended Thomas Jefferson High School. She was a wonderful teacher to her five girls and a huge Houston Astros fan. Alice enjoyed casino trips and loved playing bingo. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Geronimo Germo and Alice Jones Germo; husband Ronald R. Roy; son’s Ronald and Donald Roy; daughter, Judith King and brother, Hibbert Adams. She is survived by her children, Phyllis Roy of Tomball, TX, Darla LeJeune and her husband Russell of Crosby, TX; Bobbie Head of Lafayette, La; Robin Weaver and husband Johnny of LeCompte, La; brother, Gerry Germo and sister Velma Herber. Alice also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren to cherish her memories.
A visitation for friends and relatives will be Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be at 1:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
