Anna was born on January 14, 1930, in Port Arthur, Texas to Myrtis Towe Register and Isaac LeRoy Register. She was a former member of the Methodist Temple in Port Arthur and a retired secretary/account for many companies in the Houston area. Anna had lived in Beaumont for the past three years, Houston and the Hill Country for many years before moving back to Mid County after her husband, Al Hackney passed away. Several years later she married her childhood friend Willie “Bill” Ryman and they enjoyed nearly ten years together before he passed away. She loved to go shopping and travel and enjoyed being around her family and friends who loved her dearly.
Survivors include her nephew, James P. LeBlanc and his wife, Judy of Bridge City. She was preceded in death by her parents Isaac and Myrtis Register; first husband, Al Hackney and second husband, Willie “Bill” Ryman, Sr.
The family would like to thank Baptist Hospital, Lucas Place and Altus Hospice for all their care and compassion they gave to Mrs. Ryman during her final days.
A Cremation Inurnment will take place at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas under the direction of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur, Texas.
