Roberta M. Cushing

She was pre deceased by her husband Robert L. Cushing. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Christopher & Jennifer Cushing, daughter Suzanne VanSkike and her daughter and son-in-law Kaaren & Thomas Illsley; grandchildren Carly & Rick Nichols, Robert & Heather Cushing, Erikka & Hunter Basteen, Hayley & James Holden, Mallory & Preston Illsley; five great grandchildren; sister & brother-in-law Nancy & Ralph Sallee; brother-in-law Michael Boa and several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Roberta was a longtime member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and was a Third Order Franciscan. She was a teacher for the Chenango Bridge Elementary School.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 9-10am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1049 Chenango Street, Binghamton. A Memorial Mass will be offered at church at 10am with the burial to follow at Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
