Evidently I was sharing too many feelings & just getting into ONE PARTICULAR (out of millions) time when, on Christmas Day, Pat & I received Bunk Beds for our dolls & Eddie & Kenneth were found lying in the bunk beds laughing there heads off with Eddie's in a squint position, & Kenneth standing up hysterically 
laughing as our  NEW BUNK BEDS were now " Broken Bunk Beds!!!  Needless to say Mom & Dad were also holding back there laughing while trying to scold them!!  Another time when Mom & Dad went out to the movies & "I was left in charge"!!!  (cannot forget how) Eddie brought "DUKE" our German Shepherd up from the basement to play in  the Living room on the couch!!  It got a bit rough when Eddie & Kenneth picked up the pillows to play with!!!  And then  pillows as DUKE was pulling with them... I was out the side door shaking out the rugs filled with feathers, while raining, as Mom & Dad were walking up the driveway!! Dad looked at me & asked , " why is it only SNOWING ON OUR DRIVEWAY?? ............
BUT when they came inside, ALL WAS QUIET!!!  
Boys in bed, Pat in hers, & me facing the music!!!  (I WAS THE FUNNIEST & YET SCARY TIME FOR ME!!).  Just picture both boys pretending the were sound asleep, & Pat in her room doing the same.  Then Dad heard a sound in the boys' room. so he opened up there closet door &  there was" DUKE" HAPPY & panting!!!
  Ju s t another wonderful memory for me of " HEARN FAMILY " & WARM, LOVING, FUN, HAPPY MEMORIES OF MY BROTHER EDDIE 🙏💓 HOW I LOVE& MISS YOU!!!  WE WILL BE TOGETHER ALL OF US. THE HEARN FAMILY!!

I remember asking Uncle what the 0-60 was on his camaro. He said “Let’s find out bud.” We went through a tank of gas in like 30 minutes figuring it out.

Luckily, I got to say this to him over the phone and I can only hope that he really heard me ... uncle lives in my brain and memories with the biggest smile on his face. I can’t even remember what he looks like NOT smiling. For me, the holidays always come to mind. I remember him in his home on Christmas Day.  We’d all be somewhat around the table post feast. He’d be standing at the head of it, drink in hand, smile on his face, telling some sort of dad joke and laughing. Sometimes I got the joke. Sometimes I didn’t. I could have been a kid or a teenager depending on the year. It didn’t matter if I got it. What mattered was that he brought joy and laughter. Everyone would be around him laughing and the room had that holiday glow due to the mood. He helped make that. I can still here him laughing and how he said “Brie” which is what he called me. He and Mema gave off the same vibe, brought the same joy, fed off each other with laughter and jokes. I have similar memories and heartwarming feelings thinking of both of them. I doubt he knows what life long memories and goals he set for me but he gave me a sense of fun with family that I can only hope to provide for my family. I want my family to feel what I feel thanks to him. I hate hate hate that I can’t be there ... mostly to give hugs to Megan, Eddie and Patty but I do feel some sort of relief in being able to tell him how I felt. I only wish I could have said it in person and held his hand. I’ll miss you, uncle. I hope you, Mema and Pepa are all cracking jokes together somewhere. Love you. 

  My buddy Ed, I have had many good times with Eddie. He and Patty drove 6 hours and took me and my drums ( no cases ) to Boston and dropped me off in front of Berklee  my school. I took my drums out of the car and stacked them up on the curb shook hands and they turned around and went back to NY. Who does that
  I had many conversations with Ed when he was being cared for and he liked talking about the old days in school, he loved those days. I'll miss him

Remembering all the good times we shared together through the years. You'll be forever in my heart.

So many great memories of your dad as we were growing up...
My dad had a total man crush on your pop. I think he went to your dad’s shop with his toyota corolla weekly and somehow an oil change on that car took over 6 hrs... I know ur dad wasn't that slow and that car doesn’t take that much oil. He just entertained my dad for hours... 
Our thoughts are with you and your family. Pull as much strength from your friends & family as possible, and celebrate your dad’s life!

Thanks for all the fun times and for never failing to put a smile on everyone's face!!!   You will be remembered every time we take out the LIGHTED REINDEER!!    We will miss you terribly.......
