Frank Charles Nachtrab Jr of Selden, NY passed away on July 10, 2021, at Milstein Hospital surrounded by his family at 72 years of age. Frank was born July 13, 1948, to Frank C. Nachtrab Sr & Ruth Lillian Nachtrab. He married the love of his life, Susan Helen Miceli Nachtrab and they have celebrated 50 blessed years together. Frank served for the United States Army during the Vietnam War and afterward worked as a mail handler for the US Post Office for over 3o years. He was a selfless man who gave everything of himself to his family and to multiple charities.

He is survived by his wife, Susan, and sons, Frank C. Nachtrab III, and his wife, Jeannine of Patchogue, NY; Brendan J. Nachtrab and Christopher B. Nachtrab of Selden, NY; daughter, Dawn M. Perez and her husband William Perez of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and his Grandson Lucas. Frank’s life will be celebrated this week, arrangements have been made at O.B. Davis Funeral Home in Port Jefferson Station for Wednesday, July 14 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm and Thursday, July 15 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. There will be a Mass at St. Margaret of Scotland in Selden at 10:00 AM on Friday morning and then we will lay him to rest with his family at St. John’s Cemetery in Middle Village, Queens

I really thought he was going to make it. I am so saddened that it didn't work for him. Because Frank and I suffered with breathing problems, one of my thoughts was "now he can breathe" , and I know he's smiling because of that.
Sorry I can't be there with you, but my heart is with you.
Remember the good times; he'll always be with you.
