Willis Bryan Shannon, 60, of Seadrift, TX, passed away on July 10, 2019. Willis was born in Galveston, TX, to Marvin and Barbara Shannon on July 2, 1959. He worked as an independent Commercial Shrimper for over 20 years. Willis is preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Cobb Shannon; parents, Barbara and Marvin Shannon; and daughter, Brandy Shannon. Willis is survived by his daughter, Nicole Rocha and her husband, Rocky Rocha of Alvin, TX; son, Willis Bryan Shannon Jr. and his wife, Jennifer Chalk of Dickinson, TX; sister, Sandra Cantrell; brothers, John Wayne Shannon and his wife Peggy, and Nathan Shannon and his wife Ann; and 10 grandchildren (5 girls and 5 boys!): Kesha, Olivia, Roxanne, Kaydence, Kaylie, Willis lll, Sean, Jordan, Grayson, and Kingston. He also survived by his childhood best friend, George Michael Johnson, along with many nieces and nephews. Burial will be at Port O'Connor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Junior, Wade, Chris, Mike, Wayne, and Nathan Shannon and Rocky Rocha. The family of Willis wishes to extend their sincere thanks to each and every individual that has helped through this whole process. A special thanks to Melba for being with our daddy around the clock when we were not able to be!
