Rita, Joy called me today about Eleanor passing! I was a student in Weymouth Ma. during 8th,9th and 10th grades! I always thought Eleanor was so beautiful and I was a gawky teen and yet we were born a month a part! You had a tremendous family! My belated sister went to school with your sister Beverly! Those were good years and she lived a good life. I see by her photo she was still a striking beauty! May her memory rest in your heart, gone but not forgotten! Blessings,Deaconess Pat of Waco Texas!

I've known Eleanor since first grade at Pratt School in Weymouth. She was a selfless person who shared joy, sending me lovely Jacquie Lawson greeting cards featuring cats and kittens, which always brightened my day. We were reacquainted at a high school reunion and have kept in touch ever since. She will be greatly missed.

You will forever be a role model for every Stewardess/ Flight Attendant who was lucky enough to have you as an instructor in initial training. You shared your elegance, enthusiasm, knowledge, and love of life with all of us fortunate to have known you as a colleague or friend.
RIP Ms. Doble/Eleanor, you made a difference!
