Timothy Norman McGuire, 38, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 3, 2018. Tim was born in Alpena, Michigan on December 2, 1979 to David J. and Bettie Ann McGuire of Mikado, Michigan and is survived by his parents, wife Lindsay Jane McGuire of New Smyrna Beach, and two young daughters Christine and Danielle, as well as his brothers Chad and David.

Tim was a larger than life character who will always be remembered for his sharp wit, unfiltered honesty, and love of life, as well as his incredible work ethic, devoted friendship, unwavering dedication to University of Michigan football, and of course by those perfect dimples. He was a devoted husband and father who loved his three girls more than anything in this world.

In high school, Tim was a star football player and even crowned homecoming king. After graduation, Tim discovered his ultimate career path of Air Traffic Control so he joined the Air Force where he served a tour in Iraq. After serving in the Air Force, Tim joined the Federal Aviation Administration in 2007 as an Air Traffic Controller where he became a mentor and trainer to his colleagues and worked until his passing.

Tim's family has planned a Celebration of Life service for Friday, June 15, 2018 starting at 10am and will conclude with a flyover at 1pm at the Venetian Bay Towne Center in New Smyrna Beach, FL.
