Virginia L. Mincolla

September 24, 1930June 10, 2019

Virginia L. Mincolla, 88, a resident of Port St. Lucie, Florida, departed this life Monday, June 10, 2019.

Virginia was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She lived her life through her children. Her greatest joys were when her family was by her side. She took great pride in the accomplishments of all her children and grandchildren. In her early adulthood she was especially fond of roller skating. It was through that activity where she was to meet her husband, Vincent of 62 years. At family holidays she enthusiastically set dinner tables that served up all of her delicious recipes. Her childhood was not an easy one as her large family was often separated. As a consequence, she guarded her time with her family tremendously. She will be missed by all of her family.

Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vincent Mincolla, Sr. She is survived by her children, Vincent Mincolla, Jr., and his wife, Michele, son, Jack Mincolla Sr., and daughters, Sheryl and Colleen Mincolla; grandchildren, Dr. Michael Mincolla and wife, Dr. Marissa Mincolla, Alex Mincolla, Sarah Breheny-Hood and husband, Josh Hood, Michaela Lopez, Elliot Breheny and wife, Emily Breheny, Jack Mincolla Jr., and Melissa Purple; two special great grandchildren, Charles Vincent Masse and Mariella Mincolla, and many other loving great grandchildren, family and friends. Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Lung Association.

So many memories, where to begin? As children used to address adults, I met Mrs. Mincolla when I was 5 years old. Colleen and I have been best friends ever since. The memory I think of most is having wonderful meals at their house on Smith Road. Clear as if it happened yesterday, I can hear Virginia saying "eat, eat your all skin and bones!!!!"
Ya gotta love it ❤😊
