Kerree was known by many names including Mom, Kerret, Ker, K and most important to her, Mami. Upon Kerree’s request, we are not going to use the specific words fight, battle, or loss😊. But we will use the word survivor because Kerree was the ultimate survivor. Kerree lived with Stage 4 Breast Cancer for nine years and never missed a hockey game, a concert, a golf tournament, a card game, a chance to roll on the ground with the littles, a birthday or a family celebration.
Kerree was born on September 18, 1951, in Portland, Maine. Daughter of Gaetano and Mary (Dadiego) Colello who predeceased her. She lived in Gorham, Maine the last several years of her life. She will be remembered by her loving partner, John Keeley Jr. of Gorham; her son, Christopher, and his wife Robin of Scarborough; her son, Craig, and his wife, Kathryn of South Portland; her grandchildren, Jack, Hannah, Marc, Gabriella, Campbell, and Alexandra; her sister, Angelina White (husband Roland); her brother Leonardo Colello (wife Lana); her brother Joseph Colello; her sister Maryrose Filieo (husband Bernard); her sister Sandra Twombly (husband Grant); her many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Kerree was lovingly cared for in her final days by her partner, John, her sisters and best friends Sami and MR, her loving sons, and her Goddaughter, Lizzie.
