Martha Ann Brink

Martha Ann (Whitney) Brink, 74, passed away Monday at the Maine Medical Center. Born August 1, 1937 in Canada she was the single child of Mary Joyce Dahlgren and Harvey Whitney. Martha and her mother made their home in Maine after her father died when she was 6. Martha attended Falmouth High School and graduated in 1955.

She married Norman Maynard Brink from Falmouth. Martha worked for many years in the insurance industry and eventually at L.L. Bean. She was widowed in 1989 after nearly 30 years of marriage.

She leaves her daughters; Catherine McMahon and her husband Peter of Hudson, MA and Whitney Bradford and her husband Allen of Portland, four grandchildren; Jaclyn Elizabeth McMahon, Collin Peter McMahon, Joshua Allen Bradford, and Lucas Norman Bradford. She also leaves her extended Brink family and her many friends.

Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation Thursday April 5, 2012 from 6 -8 p.m. at the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St Portland.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Robert Fickett officiating.

Interment will be in Brooklawn Memorial Park Portland.
