Eric was my next door neighbor for the last 5 years. He was always so nice and hospitable. Whenever I made cookies I always brought him a plate. I was wondering why his place was so quiet lately then found this obit. Very sad and surprising. If his family needs any help cleaning out his apt feel free to email me and I can buzz you in the door and help out. Lovejoy Station misses Eric very much!

Eric truly knew how to make others laugh. Whenever my wife and I would be with him, he never ran out of jokes! He had a heart of gold and always had kind words to say to me. I will miss his friendship. My deepest condolences to all his family.

Every conversation - always resulted in belly laughs. Oh such a huge and tender heart.... I’m so very thankful for his tenacity ... and his willingness to try and challenge and outwit my brain. Bottom line, he loved deeply, he cared deeply. I am certain that without hesitation, when Jesus outstretched his hand to Eric, he did not hesitate although only in an Eric sort of way, in his excitement, he may have said a few choice words... All is forgiven. All is at peace. AMEN !
