On December 6, 1958, Kay married Dennis Vockrodt in St. Joseph, Michigan. The two met in the youth group at their church. In Portland, Kay and Dennis attended Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Kay worked at Toys R Us for some time. In her spare time, she loved to crochet.
Kay was very loving and helpful to others. She was a good friend, a kind soul, and a caring and compassionate person.
She is survived by her spouse, Dennis; her children Daniel, Dean, Leonard, Lorie, Roxane, and Darren; 23 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; her brother Larry Clemenson; and her sisters Gale Clemenson and Sandra Kick.
