Ray graduated from Tillamook High School in 1949 and shortly thereafter went on to enlist in the US Air Force. He spent most of his military service in Germany where he financed his travels and car by becoming a master poker player.

He spent his civilian career with Omark Industries and Tektronix. He worked as a property manager in later years.

Ray was devoted to his large family. He is predeceased by his parents John and Millie Kaser; siblings Marvin, Mabel, Richard, Dorothy, Charles, Cleo, Shirley, and twin brother Roy who died on their birthday last year on February 16, 2018.

Ray is survived by his sister LaVerne; and 22 nieces and nephews who consider him one of their own.

Special thanks from the family to nephew John Adamski and wife Debbie, who took Ray into their hearts and home for several years until his passing on February 6, 2019.

Ray's always sunny disposition will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life service is being planned for a later date. Ray will be laid to rest in Skyline Memorial Gardens of Portland, OR.

Ray was an exemplary employee for the Brown Family for many years. He was hardworking, loyal, dependable and honest. It is rare to find such a dedicated human being like Ray. He was well loved and cherished by our family and the tenants that he came in contact with on a daily basis. We felt very blessed that he was part of our "family" for so many years.
