OBITUARY

Rodney Clarence Poitras

September 16, 1953November 16, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rodney Poitras on November 16th, 2019 at the age of 66 years. Rodney will be forever remembered by his love of a good joke and his kindness that he showed to everyone who knew him.

Rodney leaves behind his children Craig (Maryann) Poitras and Donna (Michael) Sutton. Grandchildren Jordyn (Dillion), Braden (Amanda), Brittany (Davis), Jenna (Riley), Keegan (Izzy), Jarin, Devin, Haley and Caleb.

Great Grandchildren: Kaiden, Killian, Addelynn, Rhys and Arabella. Sisters: Valerie, Joyce, Brenda, Cindy, Mage (Ken), and Denise. Brother: Dean (Roma)

Special Auntie Vera (Robert) Harwood. Rodney was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Rodney was predeceased by his grandparents, his parents Ernie and Lydia Poitras and his brothers, Vernon, Brent, Bradley and Clary. Brother In-law Bert Houde. Niece Jodi Gibbs, Nephews Vernon, Jeffery and Tyson.

The family invites everyone to join us for refreshments after the service at The Heritage Hall 1448 5th Avenue. Entrance at the back of the building.

I first met Rodney when I went to Buckhorn school he was younger than myself but got to know him through Val and Clary.I used to think them little Poitras boys were so cute with there little button noses ❤️ My condolences to all the family and May you R.I.P. Rodney

I met Rodney several years ago , and knew him as a humorous, kind and generous man. RIP condolences to the whole Poitras family.
