Helen Gallegos

Helen Gallegos, 78, was called home to her savior Jan. 13, 2019. Born May 22, 1940, she will be remembered for her dedication and love for her family, her determination to put others ahead of herself and her immense Catholic faith. She is survived by her husband of more than 60 years, 3 daughters, 1 son, 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father and mother and one sister. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 5:30 pm at George McCarthy Historic Chapel, 400 Broadway. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, Jan. 17, at 10 am at the Cathedral of the Sacred heart. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sangre De Cristo Hospice.
