Natalie was the oldest child of Tony and Mary Valenzuela, Sr. She was born on April 12, 1940 in Crowley, Colorado.
After graduating from Manzanola High School in 1958, Natalie went on to study cosmetology at Pueblo Community College. She received her cosmetology license in 1970 and began her career soon after. Natalie took pride in her work, retiring in 1996.
Natalie married her high school sweetheart, Ned Blanco in 1960. They went on to be married for 58 years and had three children together: Alan Blanco, Raymond Blanco, and Elaine Blanco.
Being a mother was one of the most important parts of Natalie’s life. It was a role that brought her joy. She was a person that loved her family and lived every moment to its fullest.
Natalie was vibrant and passionate about life. Her many hobbies included crafting, fishing, cooking and gardening. She was an extraordinarily talented artist and all who got to experience her art was in awe.
Natalie was preceded in death by her husband, Ned, her parents, and her siblings, Ortencia Carrillo, and Tony Valenzuela Jr. She is survived by her two sons, Allan (Bobbie) Blanco and Raymond Blanco; Daughter, Elaine Blanco; three grandchildren, Jennifer (TC) Lee, Derek Blanco, and Ned Blanco; two great grandchildren, Jackson Lee and Anthony Blanco.
The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Imperial Funeral Home prior to service. Services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Imperial Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
