Cleo Townsend Shelton

She was born in Minor Hill, TN on October 21, 1935, retired from Jack’s Cookie and Colonial Pants, her parents were the late Honor Coleman and Elsie Viola McGill Townsend, preceded in death by husbands, David Cole and Alfred Shelton, member of Booth Chapel Church of Christ.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, 10-21-2015, from 6PM to 8PM at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at 11AM at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow in Minor Hill Cemetery.

Survivors are: sons, Randy Franklin, Anthony Cole both of Minor Hill, TN, Scotty Cole and Lauren of Prospect, TN, stepson, Mark Shelton and Sheila of Athens, AL, step daughters, Sonya Anthony and Wayne of Anderson, AL, Diane Butler of Athens, AL, twin brother, Leo Townsend and Pauline of Campbellsville, TN, sisters, Peggy Gatlin of Pulaski, TN, Sue Goar and Charles of La Vergne, TN, special friend, Lisa Couch of Prospect, TN, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
