Joanne Butler Bowyer

Joanne Bowyer, age 59, passed away on Friday May 4, 2018. Joanne grew up in Raleigh and graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School. After finishing her degree at Wingate College she began her career at Exide Electronics and then went to work with her husband, David Bowyer at Bowyer Case Company.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Agnes Butler. She is survived by her husband; her daughters, Molly Chandler Hagen and Hannah Lee Bowyer; sisters, Marsha Verber and Cathy Linskens, and brother, David Butler.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 16th, 6:00 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary’s St., Raleigh, NC 27605. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
