I met Bubba while working at The Leesville Tap Room and we hit it off immediately. He went from being a regular to a true friend, one I will always remember. I have many fond memories, especially when we took 1st place in the wing cook off! We will miss you big guy, I hope you Rest In Peace.

I met Mike at work in March and I immediately like him. It's my loss that I won't be able to get to know the guy all of you knew and loved.

I'm praying for him to rest in peace. I'm praying for the pain his friends and family are feeling to be softened, knowing he's in a better place.

I met Mike through work at Aeroglide. He and my husband, James "Shep" Sheppard, became good friends. Shep thought the world of Mike. When Shep passed, Mike came to Aeroglide to see me and let me know he was thinking of me. I will always remember that. I was so sad when I heard of Mike's passing. Retired employees called to see if we had heard the news. Please know that we all are thinking of Mike's family.

I'm truly saddened to hear of Michael's passing. I was his exterminator for years. No matter what kind of day I was having he always made it better by talking Yankees baseball or sending me home with his sauce and sausages. He will never be forgotten by this old bug man.R.I.P. MIKE

To all of Bubba’s family and friends, I am so deeply saddened by this tremendous loss. I’m reminded yet again of the fleeting and fragile qualities of life. I miss his bear hugs, his loud Rochester laugh, the way he always had a dish towel slung over his shoulder when he was grilling something delicious. I’m ever so grateful I knew him...he always made me laugh, gave honest advice, had a sympathetic ear and a huge heart. May we all remember to LIVE our best lives while we got ‘em and carry Bubba in our hearts as we do so. I Love you Barb, Wilklow’s, all of you crazy Lockhart’s, and I love you Bubba...Rest In Peace, old friend ❤️

You couldn't find a better friend with a more giving heart than Bubba. He was a staple at any fundraiser I threw. Didn't matter what the cause was, Bubba was there cooking...complete with the "Bubba towel" thrown over the shoulder, a tradition my husband continues whenever he grills. He never knew a stranger and will be missed by so very many. Sending strength to all who hold him dear.
