We loved having Peggy in the choir at WFUMC. Her dedication and willingness to serve was admirable, and we all missed her after she moved to Raleigh. One particularly memorable event was the choir trip to NYC in 2015. Here she is with a few other choir members at the Lincoln Center.

Peggy was very near and dear to me and our Covenant Choir at WFUMC. She was a very dedicated choir member and choir librarian. She was passionate about trying to keep us organized, making sure everyone had their robe and music for each Sunday service. Not an easy job! One summer Peggy took all 45 robes home and washed them herself. Peggy did her job with perseverance and humor! 4 years ago Peggy joined us on our choir trip to NYC when we sang at Lincoln Center. One of my most recent memories with Peggy is when I took my school choir from Heritage Middle School in May to sing for the residents at Waltonwood. Peggy was so proud and happy to have had a hand in getting that performance arranged. We all miss Peggy so much. God rest her soul. Lovingly, Elsie Shuler

I remember Patti and I wearing matching jumper dresses with Raggedy Ann on them hand made by Aunt Peggy. When mom died she was not finished with a cross stitch baby birth and weight etc. design for my Sarah. Aunt Peggy finished it and gave it to me. 💙
