Bernadine A. Evanitcka

October 23, 1919March 26, 2010

Bernadine A. Evanitcka, age 90, passed away Friday, March 26, 2010 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, Ohio. Bernadine was born October 23, 1919 to parents John and Ethel Boyce in Vindex, Md. Bernadine was formerly from Deerfield, Ohio and retired as a press operator for Kent Industries. She liked to crochet and really loved to bowl, bowling in a league up to age 87. She also spent many hours all year long putting jigsaw puzzles together and enjoyed watching game shows.

Bernadine is survived by her daughters; Beverly (Richard) Roop, Margaret (James) Faulhaber, and Nancy (Dale) Brugmann. Surviving also are her sons; David Evanitcka and Carl (Sue) Evanitcka. She also leaves 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren.

Bernadine was predeceased by her parents, her husband Mearl Evanitcka, sisters; Georgie, Pearl, Marie and her brother Hugh. Family will receive visitors on Tuesday, March 30th, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 31st at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jody Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Deerfield Cemetery.
